6 Ingredients In Your Kitchen That Are Great For Your Skin Care...

Forget expensive skin care products! You can make effective skincare treatments on your own from the comfort of your home and you will love the great benefit, richness and vitality of your skin. All from the comfort of your kitchen. Try some of these great techniques out!

Oatmeal and Onion

Oatmeal is very useful for unclogging blocked pores, while onions help to heal acnescars. Combine the two with some mineral water (and honey for a thicker texture), to form a thick pure face-mask, and apply for clearer skin.

Eggs

You know those scenes in the movies, where an athlete is training for a big day, so he/she drinks raw eggs before his/her morning jog? Have no fear; this is different! You might need to buy some cosmetic white clay for this recipe (if you have some already, great!), combine with some chamomile oil, corn flour and an egg white – and hey presto! You have a natural firming mask.

Sugar and Oil

Never thought you'd hear those two words used in the same sentence as 'good for your skin'? Well, they are! This mixture is great for skin that's thirsty for added exfoliation. Just mix equal parts of white or brown sugar, and coconut or olive oil for an entire body exfoliate. (Note: If your skin is oilier, try basic baking soda to rid your skin of dirt and blackheads.)

Apple cider vinegar

Some of this combined with crushed aspirin (leave some for the headaches!) will reduce those pores and leave your skin looking bright as day.

Lemon and Yogurt

These are useful for fading marks left on the skin by acne. Several skin lighteners include hydroquinone, an organic compound that kills cells that make melanin in the body, which in high volumes may lead to mercury poisoning. Using lemon and yogurt allows you to treat discoloured areas on your skin, without the risk causing harm to your health.

Coconut Oil

Pure coconut oil is a great natural moisturizer, even for oily skin. It has natural antibacterial elements, which is useful for acne-prone skin. Coconut oil is also very rich in protein, which helps repair skin tissues and supports healthy skin cells.
