Academic Activities Shut down in UNIPORT as Students Protest...
Students of the University of Port Harcourt have shutdown all academic activities in the institution.
All entry and exit points in the institution have been placed under lock and key, leaving the management staff and students stranded.
It was gathered that the students completely blocked the major road leading to inter states popularly known as east west road as they accused the school management of deliberately ignoring the problems confronting them.
The protesters, who stalled movement on the east west road since around 4:30a.m, also expressed their displeasure with the varsity’s new policy of ‘no fee, no examination.
