UNILAG on indefinite Academic Strike...
UNILAG On Strike shut down indefinitely over fuel and power crises, University of Lagos was shut down this morning indefinitely with immediate effect. The reasons given by the UNILAG Senate committee for shutting it down is cited as ongoing agitation by students body over poor electricity, water supply and the difficulties faced by students living off campus to get to classes, due to fuel crisis.
Students are warned to vacate the hostel by 10 am this morning and some students have informed the wider public about being forced out of their hostels as early as 7am this morning by armed Rapid Response.
