REVELATION - Who really is sponsoring Boko Haram? As Negotiator arrested...
Top Boko Haram negotiator, Abdallah Adamu, has reportedly been arrested in Cameroon over suspicions that he could have been benefiting from ransoms received for the release of hostages.
According to posts on social media by international journalist, Bisong Etai, Adamu was arrested for complicity with Boko Haram due to his sudden wealth.
Adamu was a prominent go-between and he facilitated the release of some Boko Haram hostages in Cameroon.
There were indications, however, that he was sharing ransom money with some top government officials.
Etai said Adamu's place of detention was being kept a secret, as it was feared he could "be killed highly placed govt officials".
